EB-3, Skilled Workers

Basic Requirements:
Two years of job experience or training.

Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required.

EB-3, Professionals

Basic Requirements:
U.S. baccalaureate degree or foreign degree equivalent, and demonstrate that a baccalaureate degree is the normal requirement for entry into your occupation.

Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required.

EB-3, Unskilled Workers

Basic Requirements:
At the time of filing the petition, you must be capable of performing unskilled labor (requiring less than 2 years training or experience).

Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required.

EB-3, Special Categories (Labor Certification not required), Nurses and other qualified medical professionals

Basic Requirement:
Nurses must have a diploma from a nursing school and nursing license in his/her country. Nurses must also be licensed to practice nursing in the state in which they reside or plan to reside and be graduates of an accredited nursing school in the United States or Canada (or have passed Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools examination).

Nurse applications must be submitted by the sponsoring employer.

Labor certification is not required.

Other Qualified Medical Professionals
Physical therapists should possess a license or submit a letter from a state licensing agency stating that the applicant is qualified to take the state licensing examination.
Physical therapist applications must be submitted by the sponsoring employer.

Labor certification is not required.
